The church and the annexed convent, built in the XVII-th century and entrusted to Minimi Fathers for over 100 years, are located less than a kilometre away from the urban centre. On the first floor there are interesting works of art such as altar frontals of Sicilian manufacturing, which depict scenes of San Francesco di Paola’s life. Since 6th January 1909, a procession of at least 300 people called “Pacchianelle” starts from the convent: it is an itinerant Nativity pageant, whose participants wear traditional costumes of the eighteenth-century Neapolitan crib.
